We had a great tour guide Alan who knew his way around the palace and gardens. It was very crowded, but nothing he could have done about It. The van came straight to our apartment in the morning and dropped us off at a different location after without any difficulties

It is very convenient to be taken and brought to / from the hotel. The guide was very kind. Half a day is enough to see the palace and take a quick look at the gardens (only from the main perspective and the Queen's garden), if you want to see the gardens better you would need the full day, but I only recommend it in summer since In winter with a quick look at these is enough. I traveled with 2 girls girls and the duration of the tour was ideal.

Friendly guide but we had to wait for the other group

Julian our tour guide is quite comical and was light when we went about the tour. He was punctual and arrived at the pick up point on time. We were quite early and reached the garden very early which was ideal to enjoy it without the packed crowd. The well manicured garden was picturesque. We were glad that he showed us that first. The only downside was we had to wait for the other group to join us for the Versailles tour. The tour was very informative as we learned the history of the palace of Versailles.
