Full description

Discover the excessive beauty of the Palace of Versailles on a half-day tour of the palace and gardens. You will be transported by bus from Paris to Versailles on the wealthy suburb on the city’s outskirts.

On arrival in Versailles the assistant will give you the return time and show you where the bus will be for the journey to Paris.
You’ll then be free to wander through the magical Hall of Mirrors and see the King and Queen´s Apartments.

You may have time to explore the breathtaking gardens. Marvel at the harmonious open spaces, and intricately landscaped lawns, and explore the fantastic myths and legends behind the many statues and fountains.

Great trip. Our guide picked us up at the hotel in a small but comfortable van. He shared lots of info with us on the way to picking up the other people. There were only four of us total (not sure if that is normal) so had ample room. He was very informative and polite, and his English was very good. Once you arrive at Versailles all the info is via audio guide, which is good but not great. If I did it again I would want more time so that you could explore the gardens, but we had ample time for the palace. On the way home the guide was very helpful with suggestions for things to do and even agreed to drop us off at the place of our choosing in Paris. Really happy with the trip and the service. Would definitely recommend.
