Full description
Come and visit Paris, the city of lights, and discover its most treasured sights on a full-day excursion along the Seine river. We'll open your eyes to delightful little facts and the history of this beautiful city in a fun day that includes a visit to the Louvre. See the best sights such as the Eiffel Tower and Notre-Dame Cathedral, and either have lunch or at the Eiffel Tower first-floor terrace or have a three-course lunch onboard a cruise down the Seine.

You'll begin in the heart of the Louvre museum. Believed by many to be one of the best museums in the world, this exquisite collection of art can overwhelm the visitor. Your guide will help to make sense of its hundreds of rooms and exhibits by showing you the most important paintings and sculptures. Your expert guide can answer any questions you may have, and your visit will be well rewarded with looks into the museum's amazing collection.

Then, board our river shuttle to head down the Seine towards the Eiffel Tower. You will have the option of enjoying a French-style lunch on the first-floor terrace of the tower. In summer you'll dine in the open air, while in fall and winter you will enjoy your lunch inside heated, transparent domes.

A sample menu at the Eiffel Tower includes:
• French platter: a charcuterie or vegetarian assortment, or a mix of both
• Hot side: Soup, truffade (potato dish with Cantal cheese) or another French potato specialty
• Dessert: Fruit tart or pastry, such as tropézienne or Paris-Brest
• Drinks: Water and a glass of wine, beer or soft drink, as well as coffee

Alternatively, opt for a three-course lunch on the River Seine with drinks included. Enjoy watching the monuments of Paris pass you by as you indulge in fine dining.

Once you reach Notre-Dame, your guide will share stories from the outside about this incredible gothic work, which was built between 1163 and 1345. Your guide will also tell you about the Île de la Cité. Although this is where your tour ends, your Parisian adventure doesn't have to stop here. As you'll be right in the heart of the city, you will receive more recommendations from your guide about where to explore next. Take another stroll along the Seine by sunset for a truly romantic and beautiful way to end your day. Alternatively, if option selected, your tour will end at the Eiffel Tower.
