Get fast track entry to the underground cemetery of the Paris Catacombs, composed of miles of underground tunnels lined with the skulls and bones of some 6 million Parisians. Join a local guide and explore the catacombs in a small group of no more than 19 people. Each room reveals ever more ornate and macabre bone decorations. Hear the unbelievable story of how the catacombs were built, and the massive project that was undertaken to move bones from around the city to this point. Your special access status means the guards will also open gates just for your group, letting you into areas such as a secret chapel decorated with skulls and femurs. The Paris Catacombs contain bones representing some 2,000 years of history, and their construction was a unique civil engineering project that helped give rise to the modern-day city.

At first I was very angry that our tour was pushed back an hour without notice due to the strike. My 67 year old mother were left standing outside wondering what to do. I was about to call and complain demanding my money back but Caitlin from the 1:30 tour showed up and saved the day. She was awesome, friendly, funny, and intelligent. Pay her more, she's your saving grace in this scenario.

Our guide was absolutely fantastic! He told us so much about the history of paris as we travelled through the catacombs which helped me to better understand the city as a whole. He was very funny, nice, and honest about the catacombs and Paris overall, and had so many interesting facts. This was one of our favorite parts of our trip to Paris and Europe overall. Highly recommend.

The catacombs is something that I have wanted to do for a long time. I loved it! Our guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable and it was amazing being able to walk around down there. The problem was was that this was called a 'Small Group Tour'. I have been on a lot of tours and to me this means less than 10 people. This tour had 19 people on it! And when you are in small corridors there is no way that half of the group could see what our guide was talking about! So I though that was very disappointing.
