It was a fantastic tour. We had a group of 6 people including 3 kids below 12. Tour guide was very engaging and helped us understand the different school of art. Despite the long queue, we managed to get through a less crowded entry. The kids were kept engaged, she even included a game for the kids. Overall tour time was 2 hours - enough for highlights of the Louvre. If you're looking to really enjoy and explore every floor and wing, better get a longer tour.

We were late because of cab issues. The guide didn’t wait for us even if I said we were already on the way. I was practically begging. I was told they left 2 mins earlier than us. So we went with the next tour guide which is only for Mona Lisa then explore on your own. Guide was nice. Everything was smooth at the entrance no wait times. The Louvre is huge so you need a guide because u can easily get lost.

You can’t avoid Louvre museum while you’re in Paris. It’s more than experience, it’s something that you can go many times in your life. Of course we all need a guide in order to understand what we see and learn a lot while walking all these historical monuments
