Full description
Travel in the comfort of a fully air-conditioned bus from Paris city center to Versailles, home of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette until the French Revolution in 1789. Your host will be on board the bus and ready to answer any questions you may have.  Be transported back to the Golden Age of France with a trip to the Palace of Versailles, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and emblem of French royalty and extravagance. Marvel at the breathtaking royal chateau, transformed by the ‘Sun King’ Louis XIV in the 1660s from a hunting lodge.  Your audio guide, available in 11 languages, will enable you to discover the State apartments of the King and Queen, the Royal Chapel and Hall of Mirrors, the epitome of French opulence; three hundred and fifty-seven mirrors line the gold-adorned hall and crystal chandeliers hang from the ceiling. After explore the famous gardens of Versailles with access to the Grand and Petit Trianon, and the Estate of Marie Antoinette. Depending on the day and option booked, you will also be able to see either the Musical Garden or Fountain Show. After your visit, you will be taken back to Paris by air-conditioned bus.

We enjoyed this, a lot. Opt for a whole day tour and you will not regret it. The entire day is not enough to actually go around the chateau and garden. It definitely is a long walk. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes when you go there. The driver gave us a lot of information about Paris and briefed us about Versailles during the travel to the palace. Overall, I would definitely recommend this most especially to those who wanted a hassle-free transfer to/from Versailles.

All great, impressive, well explained and well accompanied. The guide who took us, great and very professional. He knew several languages. And he knew how to explain everything before arrival. He took care of everything and no queues. Direct and fast access. For the guide site he wears wired headphones, to wear the headset and listen to everything without losing detail, otherwise it will be like going with a phone to your ear.

The organization was good Unfortunately upon entering the Palace, the audio guide in Italian did not work. We tried to understand what the problem was by asking the staff but we did not solve it. However very beautiful and also the gardens. Too bad for the rain that caught us unprepared while visiting the gardens, enchanting
