Overview
Explore two icons of Paris on a combined 7-hour tour of the Notre-Dame and Louvre Museum. See the medieval streets of the Ile de la Cité, where Paris was founded. Then, discover masterpieces of art in one of the world’s most impressive museums.
What to Expect
See two highlights of Paris on one full-day combined tour, spending the morning on the island where the city was founded, and an afternoon exploring the galleries of the Louvre Museum.

Your combined tour starts in the morning on the Ile de la Cité, dominated by the iconic Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral, considered a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. Stroll the narrow streets surrounding the cathedral to see the flower market and Conciergerie, the last place of residence for Marie Antoinette. Continue to the Notre-Dame cathedral to admire a masterpiece that took almost 200 years to build.

After an explanation of the exterior, including the gargoyles, go inside to see the spectacular stained glass windows from the 13th century. Then, skip the long lines to ascend the towers. Once at the top, enjoy breathtaking views of Paris and up-close views of the gargoyles.

Break for lunch on your own. Your guide will be happy to provide recommendations. After, stroll along the River Seine to one of the world’s greatest museums. Skip the long lines to the Louvre Museum, and follow a route to see some of the highlights among the 35,000 pieces on public display - there are another million in the basement!

Among the icons of must-see art, the “Venus de Milo” and “Winged Victory of Samothrace” are obvious highlights. Hear stories behind famous paintings, including the enigmatic smile of the “Mona Lisa.”
