The first sight of the upper chapel is very impressive. We stayed here about an hour and injoyed the athmosphere. It is a good idea to buy an itinerary with the plan of the windows and then try to identify some of the biblic pictures. We also visited Conciergerie with histopads, which is quite an interesting application with an augmented reality.
Sainte Chapelle was absolutely stunning, and I needed the skip the line ticket to even get past the front security. I couldn’t find the Conciergerie! I ended up walking into the Place de Justice and a handful of guards escorted me out and pointed in a vague direction to where it was. Could see the signage but not the entrance.
Having the reserved entrance saved us more than an hour in the line. Lines for regular tickets were huge and with the get your guide ticket we waited for about 20 minutes. The wait was totally worth it, Sainte-Chapelle is amazing and beautiful, a must see in Paris.
A great cruise alongside the most famous monuments in Paris about which an audio guide provides interesting information. The boat is very big so there is a lot of space. Crepe after the cruise is a delicious end to the experience.
I love the history of the place would totally go back and see it again. I saw it on a cloudy day, and it was AMAZING. I can only imagine it being spectacular on a sunny day.
