Explore the outside of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris, built between 1874 and 1914, and enjoy the artistic and picturesque village of Paris.

Your guided tour begins outside the Sacred Heart. Learn about the exterior and interior of the Basilica from your expert guide. See the largest mosaic in the world, Christ in Majesty, depicting the Sacred Heart of Jesus, worshiped by the Virgin Mary, Jeanne d'Arc, and St. Michael the Archangel.

After the Basilica your guide will take you to the village of Montmartre.

Thank you Carlos for an insightful tour of Montmartre. I learnt so much about the history of Montmartre and loved seeing the artists quarter. I highly recommend arriving around 8am and walking up to The Basilica Sacre Coeur. There were hardly any people and I was able to leisurely walk through Sacre Coeur and enjoy the peacefulness. There was also a beautiful service.

Your included going into the sacre-coeur but it was too busy so did feel a little short changed, however our tour guide more than made up for it giving us so much history and interesting stories of the town and architecture! He was able to answer our questions and was happy to tailor the tour to the group! Would recommend!

This was a fantastic tour! We heard lots of great information and saw lots of interesting sights. I would not recommend this for anyone with mobility issues - there are LOTS of steps/stairs (over 200 just to get to Sacré Coure) plus a lot of steep inclines - but they were worth it for the views and the experience! Also, the souvenirs in Montemartre are very affordable! This was our favorite experience in Paris!
