Stroll thorugh great historical collections to the most recent acquisitions which cover visual arts, drawing, photography, new media, experimental film, architecture, design, and industrial prospects.

Find key works or rediscover iconic artists (like Henri Matisse, Georges Rouault, Georges Braque, Pablo Picasso, Sonia et Robert Delaunay, Fernand Léger, Vassily Kandinsky, František Kupka, André Breton, Alberto Giacometti, and Jean Dubuffet).

Find out about the founding movements of modern art like Fauvism, Cubism, Surrealism, Lyric Abstraction, and Geometric Abstraction. Retrace the high points in the development of modernity and shine a light on exchanges, cross-overs, and the go-betweens who helped to form 20th century art.

Buying tickets and vouchers was very easy. Entry was uncomplicated. Absolutely worthwhile visit for people who are interested in modern art. Great building. Many explanations of works of art on site can also be accessed via QR codes. It is best to book a ticket in the morning at 11 a.m. and be there at least 15 minutes earlier. Then the waiting time is minimal.

The spaces for the exhibition are well organized, the routes are easy to follow and the staff are polite and helpful. Excellent restaurant both for the breathtaking view and for the food and the courtesy of the staff. Just a pity that the audio guide was only in three languages.

It's by far the best place to view modern art in Paris. If you have to choose between the Louvre and the Pompidou centre, choose the Pompidou centre. Want to see the Mona Lisa? Just Google it. The actual thing has to be queued for or you can try to see it from an angle to avoiding the queue. Granted the Louvre and the Pompidou show different types of art - Classical vs modern. But the classical, Renaissance pieces just turn into wallpaper after a while. So many of them. Too many of them. And unless you are some kind of expert (if you were you wouldn't be reading this review) then go to the Pompidou Centre. Don't forget the top floor has amazing views of the Paris skyline too.
