We purchased The Luvre Museun and Sein River Cruise. They sent us the tickets 3 days before the date we booked via whatsapp. However, when they sent the tickets we were already on vacation and didn't have a good internet connection so i wasn't able to download the tickets. Therefore, when we arrived at Luvre Museum which was very crowded, wi-fi and 4G didn't work and i couldn't download the tickets and show them at the museum. I called the agency but again, because of the many people at the area, didn't have a good reception and was able to hear them well. (If this happens to you ask a security person to let you go inside the museum where there is a wi-fi). I would suggest that the tickets we purchase are sent to us earlier. At least a week before, so we have the time to download them on our phones or print them. The fact that they send you the actual ticket and don't have to go at a meeting point to collect it from an agent is a pro.

Myself and two daughters (17 &14) did the tour during a 15 hour stopover at CGD. We got the advice to buy all day tickets ( 17Euros each) at the terminal 2 train station which enabled us to take the RER trains, metros and buses too get to the Louvre and the departure port from the cruise and Back to CDG without too much stress. we especially enjoyed the river cruise and given our time again I would do the cruise before the louvre tour as the info given during the cruise realy gave context that would have enriched our Louvre experience. the prebought tickets really reduced our wait time for entry into the louvre. Only hassle was my old cell phone could not upload the ticket app but after a phone call the tickets were emailed to me as promised the day before the tour.

The process of visiting the Louvre is quite simple. You book the tickets with the time that suits you, in front of the entrance to the Louvre (pyramid) there are several queues where you can queue. You stand in line where the time of your tickets is displayed. It is opened from the time and you get to the security check within a few minutes and then you are already inside. The principle is similar with the boat trip, but you can come here whenever you want without a time limit, boats leave the pier every half hour.
