For a sightseeing tour that combines both cultural exploration and investigation, look no further! Discover the Madeleine neighborhood in a very engaging and entertaining way with this unique tour. Solve clues, puzzles, and riddles, while learning about the city in a fun and exciting tour format.
With a fun and engaging booklet, you'll work with your expertise and keen sense of observation to solve riddles. After providing you with the plot and the itinerary, your guide will accompany you on a 2-hour journey, sightseeing and solving riddles together (you can go on a self-guided tour upon request). Your guide will be delighted to chat with you along the way. You will discover must-see Parisian landmarks and hidden gems, often unknown even to locals! To maintain a friendly atmosphere, the group size is limited to 12 persons.
Your mission
We will start in front of Madeleine Church, near the Palais de l'Elysée, the residence of the French President. Naturally, the plot will revolve around his security! You will investigate an incident that occurred the day before a crucial parade between two Presidents.
Your road
You will begin this investigation in front of Madeleine Church. Then, admire the sumptuous Palais Garnier and the most luxurious square in the world, Place Vendôme, home to the famous Ritz Palace and the biggest names in haute couture. As you explore and search for clues, stroll along the beautiful Rue de Rivoli, enjoying breathtaking views of the Champs-Elysées, the Tuileries Garden, and the two Greek temple-style buildings that now house Madeleine Church and the National Assembly before gathering evidence at Place de la Concorde.
Along the way listen (or not; after all, it's your tour to enjoy as you wish) as your local guide provides you with fascinating insights, engaging anecdotes, and historical context, bringing each attraction to life. Just a heads-up, we are not professional guides, so we might not know every detail of Paris' history . However, we’ve learned a lot when created this treasure hunt and we would be thrilled to share what we know, along with any tips and information you’re curious about in Paris. And of course, your guide is here to assist you in solving the riddles.
Organisation of the game
To make it more enjoyable, we will set off in a small group. Our tour lasts between 2h00 and 2h30 depending on the time taken for the walk and solving the riddles. We will adjust the pace to match the slowest team, especially when there are families with children, to ensure everyone enjoys the treasure hunt through Paris. We also organise team buildings so if a group books the entire tour, we can organize it as a competition if you wish.
