We recently experienced an exceptional art tour led by Vanina, whose expertise transformed my understanding of impressionism and its artistic context. Vanina brilliantly transported us to the era before impressionism, explaining the rigid academic standards that these revolutionary artists rebelled against. Her ability to recreate the cultural landscape of 19th century Paris provided invaluable context that made the impressionists' innovations truly meaningful. While covering celebrated artists like Monet and Renoir, Vanina also introduced us to overlooked contributors, particularly female artists like Berthe Morisot. This wasn't just a tour—it was an illuminating journey through art history led by a truly gifted guide. Vanina's passion, comprehensive knowledge, and ability to contextualize impressionism within the broader artistic landscape made this experience exceptional.
Max was terrific and due to nobody else on tour gave us a private tour. Saw everything and he gave us great insights and adapted to our interests while seeing all the highlights.
