Based on all of the reviews, we decided to do this tour!! We could not have asked for more with this experience!! Our tour guide Stanis (Stan), was born and raised in Montmarte, and he was absolutely incredible!! The tour was with a small group, about 10 of us total! Stan not only shared the amazing foods of Montmarte, but so much history of the city with us as well! He was very opened to any questions and was so passionate about this area where he grew up and so knowledgeable! If you are considering doing this food tour, DO IT!!! Just as the other’s have shared before, we saw and learned so much that we never would have if we hadn’t done this tour!! THANKS STAN!!

In short: this was fantastic. Book it!! This was my first experience with booking through Get Your Guide, and it was a top perk of my trip to Paris. I’ve come to Paris several times before, so I was looking for something unique and new, and this delivered. Julie, the guide, was outstanding. Fun, knowledgeable, and made Montmartre come alive. The walking in Montmartre is not super intense (Julie avoided the majority of the ultra-steep streets and stairs), but I would definitely recommend only for those who understand how Montmartre is designed/are capable of tackling hills and keeping up with the Parisian speed. The food sampling was all amazing, and the chef at the midway point restaurant (a 40 minute stop), Stephane Plachais, was hilarious and informative about wine and cheese. Absolutely will recommend this to others coming to visit!!

Mary was an AMAZING guide! Our train was delayed and we got there right at 4:00 PM. She was kind and gracious. Another group was running late, too. She made them feel welcome and taken care of! The sights, sounds, tastes and stories were fascinating. Be prepared to walk..good walking shoes a must. It was such a great experience to learn about wine and cheeses! My taste buds were dancing! The cream puffs were to die for! Totally recommend! Merci Beaucoup, Mary!!! Your North Carolina group of 4 loves you!
