The front of the opera building was covered in a large shroud as they we cleaning the building exterior in preparation for the 2024 Olympics. Inside the opera building was amazing. The tour did not include going inside the seating or private balconies areas. I'd suggest looking at the live performance schedule and going to one of them where you can see all we saw and more.... Next time I will make sure my trip coincides with a live performance.

This Opera house is absolutely amazing! So beautiful and well preserved. From the floors to the ceilings it takes you back to a time I’ve not seen in my lifetime. If you’re a fan of Phantom of the Opera this tour is even that much more special. The costume displays are lovely. We took the self guided tour and used the headset the iPad type display which was easy to follow and provided a lot of historical information. Surprised the ticket cost was low.

I went on this cruise on my own and was very well entertained. The food was delicious (ceviche, veal & apple crumble). The view of Paris at night, especially the sparkling Eifeltower, were amazing. The live music was fantastic. If you are looking for a more classy cruise on the Seine and want to avoid crowds, this is the right choice.
