Starting off with a pick-up at your centrally located Paris hotel you’ll head off on the 300-kilometer drive to Normandy. Along the way you can customize your itinerary with your driver/guide.
Not far away from Caen, you’ll make your first coffee stop before continuing to Pointe du Hoc, where you will visit the Colonel Rudder and Rangers Memorial. Get a better understanding of what the Atlantic Wall means.
The next stop is Omaha Beach, where you’ll be able to take a walk and see some of the memorials such as the WN 65.
You’ll also visit the American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer and the visitor center created by the American Battle Monuments Commission. If you have a relative buried in the Cemetery, your guide will find the grave for you so that you are able to pay tribute.
After this emotional stop you’ll head to the Gold Beach sector, where you can make an optional visit to see the stunning remains of the German battery at Longues-sur-Mer. In Arromanches, you’ll have time for lunch and to discover the remains of the artificial temporary harbor that was created during the Battle of Normandy.
The tour continues along the coast towards Juno Beach, and the Canadian landing sites. You’ll see some of the last famous bunkers, such as Cosy's Pillbox and some interesting vehicles like the A.V.R.E.
To conclude your visit, you’ll you stop to see the ancient German radar base at Douvres before heading back to Paris.
