Experience the famous gardens that fill Monet's paintings. View the water garden shaded by weeping willows, with the famous Japanese bridge, wisterias, azaleas, and the well-known lily ponds. Enjoy the quaint charm of Monet's home as you admire the precious collection of Japanese engravings on display. Stop at the Nympheas studio, home to the Foundation's Shop, where you can choose to pick up a souvenir. See the Clos Normand with its archways of climbing plants entwined around brilliantly colored shrubs, offering the perfect palette from spring to autumn. A must see experience for anyone who travels to France.

Monet's house and gardens exceeded my expectations. There was so much in bloom for May, and the gardens are beautifully maintained. The house is also beautiful. I thought the cost of $121 was a bit high considering it was basically just a ride out to the location and back. It's about one hour from Paris, so we had a total of two hours to explore the house and gardens and gift shop. It would have been nice to have time for lunch, but alas we did not.

Enjoyed the Trip

Everything worked perfectly. The pick was on time, small group only two people, the guide was knowledgable and nice, traffic was light so we made great time. However, the tour felt rushed, wish we had another 30 minutes to explore the town a little. 2 hrs at the gardens and the museum just wasn't enough to soak up the place.

Monet's Beautiful Garden

I had thought our guide would take us through the house and garden. He did tell us about some history on the journey over. The mini bus was excellent and very clean. The house and gardens were stunning. We would have appreciated another 30 minutes. The guide did take us to a beautiful country spot on the way home and dropped us to a metro station closer to home. It was a lovely day all in all.
