The chef was very knowledgeable in the source of the ingredients he purchased. He handled the large group setting well. His instructions were concise and he was very engaging. He included all participants in each step. I really liked this class and would definitely recommend it.

Fred's humorous and casual teaching style and wealth of knowledge of French history and food science made this a day to remember for my daughter and I. Various kitchen techniques are taught and as a group of 5, we prepared an unbelievable 3-course meal. The Market Trip is well worth your time. Learn about the various cheeses and of course wines, and how to easily pair. Sit around the table, in a beautiful setting, sharing wine with your group learning and sharing the meal you created together. A true Parisian experience not to be missed. This experience will enhance the rest of your stay in France as you will know so much more throughout the rest of your travels. Additionally, the location is ideal, easy to find, just steps from the metro but tucked away from the bustle.

It was incredible! The best cooking class ever. Fred show us a lot of cooking techniques, he explained everything so well. The place was super clean and beautiful. At the market he introduced us to some history about the wine, cheeses and produce. He is very knowledgeable and very kind. I definitely would like to visit again on my next trip to Paris
