A simple walking tour, luckily it wasn't too crowded so we were able to take lots of pictures without photobombing.
The Palace is stunning, and it is another world. The wait was worth it, even with winds and rain!! This ticket does not make you skip any line though! I waited 50min to enter the Palace and spend at least 2-3hours

Know before you go
- Entrance is free for children under 18 years old, and for EU citizens under 26 years old. In both cases it is necessary to get a free ticket from the cashdesk with a valid form of identification is required. Non-EU citizens between 18 and 25 need to buy a ticket
- You may experience some waiting time at the security check at the entrance of the Estate
- Arrive early to avoid the crowds. In high season, the Estate can be very crowded in the morning
- The gardens are not accessible on the following dates: Tuesdays between 31 March and 27 October; weekends between 28 March and 1 November; and 3 April, 8 May, 21 May, and 14 July
- To access the gardens during those days, you will have to pay an additional fee of EUR 9. You can also book 'Versailles Palace and Garden Full Access Day with Fountain Show'
