Full description
Discover the secret to making perfect macarons at a hands-on small group class in the heart of Paris. Typically groups are between 3 to 7 people, making for an intimate experience and full attention from your host. They will demonstrate and give detailed instructions on how to make macarons using the harder-to-master, but more reliable, Italian meringue technique. Learn to pipe, incorporate a color to your shells, and make a ganache or curd filling. Once done, sit down to a shared teatime of tea, coffee, fruit juices, and some of your creations. This is the time when your host will share the story of the macaron, and a couple of other interesting stories about French culture - often tongue in cheek. Before you depart, you will be loaded with a box of your very own creations, which you can share with your friends and family - or eat yourself over the next few days!
Includes
  • 2-hour macarons class with hands-on instruction
  • All cooking equipment and apron
  • Teatime, drinks, stories, and a box of your creations to take away

This macaron cooking class was so very fun. Amanda was friendly, well organized and professional. She gave us lots of instruction for making these delicious cookies at home. The facility is very nice also. I would love to take some other classes. Highly recommend!!

Excellent activity learning to make macarons. Great venue and location with super friendly and knowledgable staff/owner. All steps explained, good equipment, recipes provided and enjoyed sharing in the small group to make different flavours. Lovely end to afternoon with chatting, sharing tea/coffee and eating our bakes with enough to take home. Exceeded expectations and thank you!

This was the best experience! Florence was an excellent instructor and she made the experience fun for everyone, including my 13-year-old niece! I loved the size of the class too. It was just the right size to be personal & enjoyable. The next time I’m in Paris, I will definitely take another class at the school! The kitchen & dining areas were also aesthetically appealing. It felt very French & surreal! :)
