Paris: Macaron Baking Class in Central Paris

Chef Leo was very engaging and his cheerful personality made the whole class very enjoyable. He was very clear in his instructions and even gave us tips on improvisation if baking the macarons in weather of our home country. The macarons turned out so well ! My whole family really enjoyed the class.

We spent over 2 hours learning the entire process of making macarons. I now know it is no easy task 😅. Leo was the most amazing host, he had everything ready before our arrival so we could focus on the fun parts of the process, using his top of the line equipment. He was endlessly patient, friendly, fun, kind, and knowledgeable. He told great stories, demonstrated his years of training, and made it very clear that baking is definitely a science, not an art (although the end result is beautiful lol). Most importantly, the macarons tasted AMAZING. My friend tried one and immediately said “you made this?!?!” since she knows I have zero baking skills whatsoever. After the class, Leo sent us the complete recipe along with a handy list of recommendations of places to try in Paris, and also happily provided recommendations for all of our random requests. Overall this class was 100% worth the money and I am SO glad I did it, and will recommend it to any friends visiting Paris in the future.
