the "priority access" line should not be mistaken for the priority admissions which is for disabled/additional needs! we joined this queue seeing the "priority access" wording without realising and got sent towards the actual queue where we had to cheekily slot in rather than joining the end as it was MASSIVE. during summer months the museum is roasting in places so be prepared with enough water!

The Louvre is a must visit in Paris. It was great to have the timed option and not have to worry about queuing for tickets. We went to the meeting point and could see a board with our time on and it was clear where to go. There was still a small wait to get through security but it didn’t take long. I was on a trip with my sister and we had made a list of the items we wanted to see in the museum - The Mona Lisa (obviously), Venus de Milo, Victory, etc. Even if you don’t have anything in particular you want to see it’s still a fabulous experience just walking around.

The louve (mona Lisa museum) you'll need a snack and water. Do the river cruise just at dusk so you'll see the eiffel tower and city during the day and night. Get a hotel near the centre, pay the money so you don't need to get transport or taxi into he city everyday. Look up local areas to eat and the reviews because the food is amazing in Paris
