Pre-booking the ticket is a must, very easy to enter the museum with the pre-booked ticket. We entered around 45min before our time allocated. The Museum was difficult to navigate however we just picked out on the map what we wanted to see and then admired the rest on the way. It is very hot inside the buildings and very cramped with people.

Everything worked wonderfully, once queued at the priority lane for 11:30 and after a few minutes of waiting we went in zack zack. The Louvre was of course an experience. Addendum: The night before we had a question about a ticket, so we chatted with GetYourGuide (after 10 p.m.) and everything was answered promptly! Top

The Louvre is very impressive. After about 3 hours the family was exhausted and we had only seen a fraction. It is therefore advisable to consider in advance what you would like to see or to bring a lot of time and energy with you. It is very important to book a ticket with a time slot in advance, as this meant we had to wait around 15 minutes. Don't forget, children and young people up to the age of 25 do not pay admission! However, the children also need a ticket, which can also be booked online at the Louvre.
