Full description
Skip the ticket line at the Louvre Museum at the end of the day to see masterpieces of art without the crowds. Follow a carefully designed route through the galleries to reach the Mona Lisa just as the museum is closing. Tested and perfected, your itinerary inverts the normal Louvre route, allowing you to see much more than other visitors who are on normal tours that try to fit the rest of the museum into 1.5 hours. Discover treasured landmarks, such as the historic foundations of the Kings’ Palace Moat. Marvel at ancient Greek and Roman sculptures, including the legendary Venus de Milo. Gaze in awe at Michelangelo’s Slaves and many other great works by French artists such as Delacroix and Géricault. Admire the crown jewels of the former French monarchy, the Winged Victory monument, and works from the Italian Renaissance by Caravaggio, Raphael, and Da Vinci. End in front of the Mona Lisa after the crowds have left to get a better appreciation of her enigmatic beauty.

The walking tour of the Louvre with our guide Adam was absolutely a high point of our trip to Paris. Although one can only see a small fraction of the exhibits in one visit to the Louvre, our guide was so knowledgeable, organized, and exceptionally well versed on museum navigation, that we walked away extremely satisfied and feeling like we really did see the Best of the Louvre”!

It's really great experience to be in louvre museum and see a lot of amazing pieces of paintings and sculptures. To be honest, it was great because of the guide who was exceptional in giving very important information about the main pieces of arts that were seen. There were 3 hours of not only going through paintings and sculptures; but rather these 3 hours made me really understanding and appreciating the hard work of that talented artists and how their each and every touch means a lot to make great art work. And for sure, thanks to the amazing guide Adam to make that experience in louvre museum really worthy.

Excellent tour, Violet is a French native who speaks perfect English, has a college degree in art history, and was really knowledgeable overall, in addition to having a great, friendly personality. I briefly met some of the other tour guides who were her coworkers, and they seemed just as excellent. Definitely worth the money, would highly recommend
