Full description
Discover Paris’ most famous island — Île de la Cité — on a guided walking tour. Let your expert local guide bring to life its iconic sights, such as Notre-Dame, as you learn about the neighborhood’s roots in the Middle Ages. Wander the medieval streets of the historical neighborhood, with a stop at the chapel of Sainte-Chapelle, a 13th-century chapel in the old Royal French palace with beautiful stained-glass windows. Hear about the Conciergerie, formerly a prison once home to Marie Antoinette herself, but now a well-known court of law. And, of course, you’ll see Notre-Dame from the outside. Hear about its medieval roots from your guide, how it inspired creatives over the centuries, and see how its exterior is still recognizable and memorable today.

      Charlie was amazing!

Our tour guide Charlie was fantastic. In fact, we missed a tour in the morning and booked this one, and felt glad we did! Best tour we’ve had in multiple countries. Informative, engaging, funny, and covered an incredible amount of information while keeping it totally interesting for an audience from all age groups and backgrounds

A wonderful discovery of Notre Dame de Paris&Ile de la Cité with Fred!

No better way to discover Paris and its Cathedral Notre Dame de Paris than following Fred as a guide. A very nice parisian, with strong knowledges, talking about the city history, its art, its specificities, its little stories... with a lot of care, generosity and a touch of humor keeping you smiling and enjoying the moment. Definitely recommended

      Outstanding tour, highly recommended!

Our guide Adeleye did an outstanding job! He was very informative, on edge (in a funny and positive way), friendly and also thoughtful while trying to keep us out of the hot burning sun. The audiosystem works well and Adeleye has a nice and clear voice that speaks passionately about history, revolutions, religions, art, politics and building monuments like Notre Dame (and the architect’s mother in law....). He clearly loves what he does and that makes him an outstanding tourguide. Even though it was very hot day, we gladly followed him around for 2 hours and listen to his stories.
