Explore the heart of Paris on this 3-hour guided bicycle tour of the city center. This tour is ideal for first-timers and provides a fantastic overview of the city, including the Pompidou Center, the Seine river, Notre Dame Cathedral, and Palais-Royal.
What to Expect
Enjoy a 3-hour guided bicycle tour in the center of the city and the heart of Paris. You will first take a long ride through the ancient district and narrow streets of the Marais, including Rue de Turenne, Place des Vosges, Rue des Rosiers, and Rue des Blancs Manteaux.
On your ride you will suddenly surge to a colored modernity, when the Center Georges Pompidou appears at the end of an old street. You will stop between the huge building and the Stravinsky Fountain to hear about the history of the magnificent building before continuing on to Les Halles and the Palais-Royal, where you can step into the city’s most secret and quiet garden “à la française".
The tour continues on to the Louvre’s main court and the Seine river, where you will cross the Pont Neuf bridge to enter the Ile de la Cité, where you can see the restored version of an ancient royal palace and the world-famous Notre Dame Cathedral. On the way back the guide will either take you along the riverside (on Sundays) or across the quartier Saint-Paul, also part of the Marais district.
