Tour a little expensive for me. € 62 to be accompanied by bus to Versailles, because it runs without a guide but only with an audio guide (among other things, not very explanatory, if you look before going to the episode of Ulysses by Alberto Angela on Marie Antoinette you will discover more things of how much the audio guide tells of it) had it been for us we wouldn't have spent it like this, unfortunately we came to Paris in the week of general strikes and we had no other way to get there.

Two hour tour of Versailles

As others have mentioned, due to the travel to and from the time at the Palace is short. If you want to spend time book the full day tour. The palace has a lot of visitors, avoid Tuesdays, we learned its one of the busiest days. You have to plan to be in constant "line" throughout the palace due to the volume of visitors.

Unfortunately there were a lot of people on this day (Friday morning) and in some rooms it was difficult to get through ... Because the weather was bad it didn't matter to return to the bus after 2 hours. If it had been nice we would have loved to linger in the beautiful garden ...
