Isabelle our tour was absolutely fantastic and made the journey there incredible. We learnt so much about the history of Monet and the surrounding areas of Normandy and Giverny. She was so helpful, making sure we knew exactly what we were doing, and talking us through what to expect and how to navigate our way through the tour and then back to the meeting point. I cannot fault this tour at all. Pick up and drop off were incredible easy and friendly. The timing was perfect too.. the right amount of time to really soak it all in at your own pace. We took over 500 pictures! We can’t thank you enough! I brought my sister (named Giverny) here for her surprise 30th birthday, and you made a bucket list event absolutely magical x

The tour was well organized and efficient. The bus was comfortable and air-conditioning. A little tip for extra tall people: sit in the row behind the emergency exit door (middle door) for more legroom. Our guide was excellent and kept track of every traveler to make sure we all got back on that bus at the end. We did not purchase audio or guided tour so we would have the freedom to explore the grounds on our own terms. We had 2 hours to explore, which was more than adequate. We had enough time to see the 2 gardens, tour the house, go to the gift shop, explore the little town of Giverny, and have a snack. Yes, we did have to walk from the bus lot to the entrance, but that's what ALL the visitors on tour buses have to do. Yes, we were dropped off at a different location from our pick-up spot, but that was to avoid traffic, which we were grateful for. So little tip is to be flexible--whatever small changes they make are actually for your benefit. I highly recommend this tour!

Enjoy a half-day trip to the former home of Claude Monet, one of the most famous painters of French Impressionism. Located in the tiny hamlet of Giverny on the banks of the River Seine, 50 miles west of Paris, the house and gardens were bequeathed to the Académie des Beaux-Arts by his son in 1966. They were opened as a public museum in 1980 following large-scale restoration work. Depending on the option you choose, your tour will either be guided, audio-guided or at your own leisure.  Depart Paris and travel by comfortable air-conditioned coach. As there is no direct public transport to Giverny, this is the ideal way to get there. You will drive via the western districts of Paris and take the Normandy motorway as far as Bonnières. After crossing the River Seine at Vernon, continue to Giverny through the wooded plateaus of Eure. Giverny attracted several Impressionist painters in the 19th-Century, most following the lead of the movement’s founder, Claude Monet, who lived there for 43 years. Visit the Master’s house, where the spectacular colors and enchanting garden were designed like a work of art. Be dazzled by the flowerbeds and plants and get a sense of the artist’s feelings and inspirations as you stand in front of the famous water lilies and weeping willows in the delightful water garden.

Loved Monet’s house and gardens. The audio guide provided by Paris city vision was also very informative and interesting. However, organisation left much to be desired. We were told to meet at a location, only to have to walk to another location. Even if changes were necessary, shouldn’t the company have updated the info? We basically had to backtrack to where we came from. What was worse was the messy registration process. When we arrived 20 mins before departure as instructed, there was no one there holding a flag or signage. Saw many other participants wandering around asking if we were at the right location. My usual experience is that the guide is always there early to welcome and brief participsnts. Only later did we realise that a threesome we saw chatting were actually from the company. They basically ignored everyone until just 5 mins before setting off. If not for a fellow traveller who said her other tour was ok, I would have given a lower rating. Not professional.
