Nina was an excellent guide, she led us through the garden and house giving us the most important information about the place and the artist. Monet became real in front of our eyes and his artwork meaningful. Nina also gave us a tour of the cemetery where Monet’s family tomb is located. This gave us an opportunity to understand family ties and the connection the Monets had to Giverny. A truly meaningful visit!

Perfect half day trip to discover Monet’s gardens and home. I thought there might be some paintings, but only the inspiration. The gardens were magnificent, even in early October. Please note that while the meeting place is only 500ft from the Arc De Triumph, you cannot see it from the circle, so make sure you have the right street.

We felt devoting a half-day to visiting Giverny would be a good time investment. Boy, was it, especially with the expert (and delightful) guidance of Claire, our host. From the prompt pick up to the spot-on drop off, it was a great day. She was always trying to make our experience as rich as possible, including making sure we were the first group there and got our own 13 seconds of private viewing (it really made a difference as the crowds got bigger and bigger). We highly recommend this tour; we got what we paid for (and more).
