Absolutely loved our guide, TJ. He was lively, super kind and extremely knowledgeable. I loved the places he took us to and all of the information he shared with us, we learned so much. The only thing I gave less than 5 stars on was the transportation and that’s because we were the second to last to be picked up and because of that, we were really squished in the back seat for the entire day and it was extremely uncomfortable while the other passengers got a lot more room. I think it would have made sense to have us all rotate so we all got to be comfortable for a period of time, especially since we all paid the same amount and you’re in the car for a long time. Other than that, it was an amazing experience and I look forward to doing another tour like this again, hopefully with TJ!

Good mixture of houses. Loved seeing the large modern house, drinking in a vineyard and ending with a small grower who was more affordable to ship bottles home. The lunch was quite good in town as well. Nice conversation with other group members. We unfortunately had to rush through Reims Cathedral in less than 15 minutes. Would have liked to spend at least 30 minutes there. Our guide, Tomer, was fantastic with his deep knowledge of the region and stories to entertain. I highly recommend this tour.

Explore the Champagne region and see the historic city of Reims to discover where French royalty were crowned on a guided day tour from Paris. Start with a pickup from your hotel or accommodation and head for the heart of the champagne region, Épernay. Take a guided tour of one of the grand champagne houses such as: Mercier, Nicolas Feuillatte, Veuve Clicquot, Taittinger, Moet & Chandon or other famous champagne houses, depending on availability, as well as a smaller estate later in the day. Learn about the history of its namesake and sip on fine champagne. Discover local gastronomy and savor a 3-course lunch at a local restaurant. See the vines up and personal while your experienced guide tells you about the different varietals of grapes, the terroir, and what makes champagne so celebrated. Visit a local champagne house and meet the people behind the production of this great drink. We really enjoyed our day trip from Paris to the Champagne region. The Olympics prep has started in earnest in Paris, and many roads and bridges are closed, but our guide Tomer found a spot close to us and we were able to bike there in the morning for pickup with a Lime rental. Tomer was such a wonderful host. He gave us a short talk on the champagne making process on the drive to Reims. We had a short stop at the cathedral where the kings and queens of France were crowned, which was a stunning piece of gothic architecture. We toured two wineries, one which was family owned and boutique, and the other was large and modern. The small vineyard was charming and lunch was delicious, and the large one showed us how champagne making has changed to adapt to new technology. We had a stop at an overlook of the region and tasted a few more champagnes. Highly recommend for a pleasant day, well worth the cost for a small and friendly group experience.
