Sophie, our guide, was the best! She had a great personality and seemed excited and knowledgeable about the subject. She also looked out for us in getting us good views, protection from the weather, and general information about other subjects. The full day tour was really enhanced by having her. Everything we did was guided by her which made it much better. Highly recommend!

Well organized tour and the instructions to get to the bus were very clear (about 5 min walk from the meeting point). The tour is nice, lots of people in the castle but you forget about it when listening to the guide. And no need to wait in line to get in. Still enough time at the end to visit a part of the gardens (as they are huge). Lots of walking, wear some confortable shoes. Pricier than going to the castle on your own, but it was a great day overall.

  • If the bus transfer cannot operate due to reasons beyond our control, the trip will be made via public transportation with a GetYourGuide host
  • Check in at the time indicated on your voucher. In case of late arrival, we cannot guarantee access to the palace. Rescheduling fees may apply.
  • The palace gardens are free from November to March, so no tickets are required during this period. Prices are adjusted accordingly. There are no musical or fountain shows during these months.
  • The gardens close at 5:30 PM from November to March
  • There are no restrooms on the bus
  • Unfortunately the bus is not adequately accessible for wheelchair users

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and she gave an excellent tour making sure we spent adequate time where possible (it was crowded). The tour of the gardens was also well done. She gave us the history behind the creation of the gardens and made sure we saw a fountain that had a musical show. She explained how the fountains were engineered which was fascinating.
