it was great learning about the process of making champagne.. it would have been nice to know what champagne houses we were going too as I wanted to go to a particular one which I thought I would see on this tour.. also lunch was great but it was in an area where we could not really shop as it was more in a residential area. it was still good.
Loved this trip! Our guide Sayed (not sure on spelling) was great. He gave lots of info and made sure we had something to eat before leaving. I enjoyed seeing the production site on the first stop and learning about the process of making champagne. I think we tasted 7 different ones. Also, the lunch stop was nice. The food was better than I expected. The choices were chicken or fish and then a veggie option. The bus was a bit squishy which may be tough if you’re not petite like me but it was nice and wasn’t full thankfully, so people could spread out. Good small group size. Overall a nice day!
