Giverny was gorgeous & interesting but Auvers-sur-Oise was less so.

Our guide was very nice, the lunch was wonderful and we met some interesting people on the small tour. It was great to get out of the city and see some of the French countryside. Giverny was more than expected with the amazing gardens and tour of the house that included copies of many paintings by various artists. The gift shop had a large selection with reasonable prices. Auvers-sur-Oise was less than expected with only a tour of 2 rooms in the house that included a short video, a very small gift shop & the cemetery/grave site. I was hoping to see several copies of paintings but that did not happen. We did learn a lot about both artists as well as historical information about the areas we visited. It would have been nice to spend a little more time in Giverny to see the museum and less time in Auvers-sur-Oise. Overall I highly recommend this tour for even the novice art lover!

It was a very pleasant excursion.

Quite a long time spent on a van, but as it was such a hot day, we were happy to be sitting in the van with air condition instead of walking under the sun too long.

Everyone should have such a garden.

Guide very humorous and added French charm to the outing.
