Terrific. Excellent guide/driver, and the GYG coordinator was on time at the meeting point, divided people into groups of 8 for matching us with guides and vans. The itinerary was as described, adequate time at each of the stops. Good overview discussion of D-Day relevant to each itinerary stop. Recommended restaurant stop was good. We really liked out guide, who tried too get to know us during the day. He answered all of our questions, and pointed out good information at each location, including the Normandy American Cemetery. The last stop at the Cider location was relatively quick, no pressure to purchase anything, but we could have done without that stop. It was a bit after 8pm when we arrived back in Paris at the starting location - plan for a 13 hour day, not a 12 hour day as advertised.

Exceeded expectations. Our driver/tour guide was a young lady I think spelled Brunhilde, and we could not have asked for a more personable and knowledgeable one. We drove in a minivan with 3 other couples which we enjoyed. Became friends after spending a day together. Normandy is a must visit if your anywhere near by like we were in Paris. The French seem to have more respect for our American soldiers because of this historic location and for D-day than we do. Brunhilde even took us on a little side trip to a little cider/wine tasting. I highly recommend this tour.

Julian was a great guide. It was a full day and we came to appreciate history so much more, reliving the stories and experiences of D day and the war. I am grateful we can relearn and remember the sacrifices given for freedoms and a better life. Highly recommend!
