What People Are Saying About Paris
The museum was great, informative and lots of taste testings. Bought tickets on this site and brought the evoucher which they do not except. I was able to email it to them which was great, but I wish I would've bought the tickets there instead. paid $16 online not including the hot chocolate, tickets at the door are only 11€ and 3 more for the hot chocolate. so... pay at the door
3 hours is a long time to walk with few opportunities to sit & rest, yet the time flew by even with kids in tow. many opportunities to taste treats, & a wonderful guide who provided tons of background information about Parisian traditions. the walk took us through many interesting stops even beyond the food. only 7 people in the group so it was small & personal. I would do this again in a heartbeat!
A gem of a museum, suited to young children up to teenagers as well as adults. It's laid out in an accessible way and tells the history and some of the folk lore surrounding the production of chocolate. Along the way you can taste delicious samples, watch a short film and chocolate making demonstration also includes tasters. Friendly, approachable staff make the visit really enjoyable - they also spoke excellent English.
Our family loved this tour. Our guide mixed food knowledge with cultural and historical facts along this enjoyable waking tour through St. Germain des Pres. Tour works well with children of all ages. Who doesn't like dessert in the middle of the day? High quality confections and baked goods. A great value in a pricey district. We highly recommend.
