Exceeded my expectations! Incredible day!

The meeting location is easy to find. When we arrived they provided a small (delicious) pastry and coffee/tea. Our tour guide (and driver) Matthieu was fun, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. We took a small van, (maximum: 8 people including the driver). The drive was easy. We started at Tattinger whose cellars blew my mind. Then we went to a small champagne house: Vincent Brochet. The namesake and owner gave us the tour followed by lunch & dessert which was wonderful. After we went to another small champagne house and had another very laid back tasting. They promised 7-8 glasses over the course of the day, I think we had more like 10-12. Thank you so much!

The highlight of our trip to Paris

This tour was the highlight of our trip to Paris. The tour included visits to 3 champagne houses, a stop at Taittinger and 2 stops at smaller, family-owned houses. The stop at Taittinger included a tour of their impressive underground wine caves and 1 tasting. The second stop included a private, chef-prepared lunch with champagne pairings (~3 generous tastings), and the third stop included a behind-the-scenes tour of the house and 3 more tastings. We appreciated that this was a small tour (5 total). We liked that lunch was at the vineyard and not a restaurant. Plus, the meal was EXCEPTIONAL. We also appreciated our guide; kudos to him for being very professional, knowledgeable, and a good companion throughout the day. Overall, we thought this tour was a good value, considering the events of the day, the number of tastings, and provided lunch. If I find myself in Paris, I will book this tour again. It's an excellent way to see the region and taste several champagnes.

Great experience, learned a lot and tested a lot of champagne: -

The guide was a champagne expert and picked up the tour guests with the minivan at the hotel. There were 8 of us, mixed in origin. The journey to the Champagne takes 2 hours and 3 wineries were visited there. The champagne varieties, types of production, prices and marketing presented were fundamentally different. Guide and country people spoke English. We ended up buying a rosé for 15 euros, but were not pushed to do so. After 11 hours we were back at the hotel. A great relaxing experience.
