With this unique guided tour enjoy full access to the Catacombs of Paris and discover the real story behind this amazing site. The Catacombs of Paris contain the bones of over 6 million people, and your guide will explain why this labyrinth of tunnels became an underground cemetery in the 18th century.  Descend a narrow spiral stairwell to the darkness and silence below the city, broken by the gurgling of the hidden aqueduct. Then, walk through the cool and clammy corridors to see the bones and skulls of the long dead, pushed into caverns and embedded in the walls.

One of the best tour guides I have ever had and our family travels a lot. Easy to understand, entertaining, knew so much history and reached all ages in our group capturing their attention. The Catacombs was so interesting and not what I was expecting at all. Highly worth the tour!

Our guide was excellent. There was a lot of confusion about our starting time. The day before I got an email that told me the time was an hour later but when we contacted Get Your Guide they said they had no idea about a time change. Our fellow tour persons never got the message.

Our guide Egor? was Amazing. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic which took the whole experience to the next level. Would highly recommended a tour and those who do the audio guide have no idea what their missing on! 2 special access for the VIP tour gave a greater insight to the building of the quarries and story behind the catacombs. I highly recommend this tour.
