From pirates' pearls to haute couture dresses, the world's largest flea market awaits you on this small-group tour with an insider guide. With more than 2,500 stalls, the Paris Flea Market of Saint-Ouen is laden with hidden treasure – but knowing how to navigate it can be a little daunting for a novice.

For a period of 90 minutes, and up to 2 hours, your guide will show you how to recognize the best artifacts and find unique, good-quality treasure at the best price. Your guide will show you how it all works and where to hunt for the items that beg you to take them home.

You will learn to identify quality versus garbage, and how to negotiate, Parisian-style! You will also get a little lesson in flea market culture and be able to chats with local shop owners. Find everything from antique weapons to Paris memorabilia on this introductory tour that gives you a much better sense of the city-within-a-city, preparing you to raid the market for that perfect piece!

Our guide Hella, I hope I spelled that correctly, was fabulous. She not only showed us the vendors selling the items we were hunting but also gave us a great history lesson on the flea market itself. She expertly advised us on locations to avoid and helped us find vendors that we could be confident in regarding authenticity of our purchases. The first time I visited St Ouen I was overwhelmed and left after only walking through the Dauphine area, now after exploring with Hella I am looking forward to returning and spending a couple of days hunting for treasures!
