    Discover the historic D-Day Beaches on a 2-day trip around the stunning French regions of Normandy and Brittany. Detailed Itinerary Day 1: Paris - Caen (Meals: D) Take the Normandy motorway and make your first stop at Rouen for a walking tour in the old town before continuing to Honfleur. On the way between Rouen and Honfleur, enjoy a view of the newly built Pont de Normandie, a cable-stayed bridge. Take free time for lunch once in Honfleur, then continue to the beaches of Normandy and pass by the landing area at Omaha Beach. Visit the American cemetery of Saint-Laurent, stop off in Arromanches, and then continue on for dinner and an overnight stay at Novotel Caen (or similar). Day 2: Caen - Paris (Meals: B) Leave Caen in the direction of Saint-Malo located in the Brittany region. Take a guided tour of the town, including a walk along the ramparts and the cathedral. After free time for lunch, depart for Mont-Saint-Michel, the frontier between the Brittany and Normandy regions. Continue your afternoon with a guided visit of the abbey and free time for strolling and shopping, before returning to Paris.

    I particularly appreciated the social, architectural and historical knowledge of our guide. Her knowledge of of the sites we visited was truly impressive. I was a little disappointed in the fact that even though our 2 day tour was a tour of 25 guests, we were integrated with another tour (different language) of 25 for bus transportation. This necessitated all information presented while traveling on the bus between sites to be heard twice in two different languages. But it was still an excellent tour, with excellent overnight accommodations. I had to change my tour date after booking the tour and the customer service agents (telephone) were very accommodating. Good customer service and good flexibility. Good value overall.

    A flawless experience!

    You really feel like you've seen Normandy after this tour, and the taste of Brittany leaves you wanting more! The guide was very friendly, funny and welcoming, and, being from Normandy herself, she was very knowledgeable. Not only did I learn a lot about the history of France, and Europe, I was also enlightened in regards to Norman traditions and the French way of life. Furthermore, as someone who didn't really know where she was going and was overwhelmed by the amount of things to see in Normandy and Brittany, I was grateful to be in the hands of an expert. I had a much better experience than I could have planned on my own!

    We had paid extra for hotel pickup. When we got to the office, there were ~50 people in line, and we were at the end. People doing 2 & 4 day tours were combined on the same bus. At Rouen, the guide was rushed and did not pay attention to see if people at the end were keeping up with her. Although we mentioned this, she was flippant about it. She was a nice lady but hard to understand, so not a good guide. We (and many others) were most disappointed at the very short stops at the D day sights. On Omaha beach we did not even stop at the Memorial, or the museum. There were 2 token stops for 15' each and then the American cemetery. There was no booklet of Normandy as advertised. Dinner that night did not even include a drink. We had a different guide on the drive back to Paris in a different bus, who did not speak other than instructions for a rest stop. If you are interested in learning more about D day and the sights, I would not recommend this tour.
