What People Are Saying About Paris Catacombs
Massive lines and 2-3 hour outdoor waits greeted us on a cold, snowy day. But we zipped right by it all and walked right in with the Skip the Line tickets. Worth every penny. The Catacombes are unbelievable and the tour excellent. Would love to come back on an extended guided tour.
Skip the line was amazing for this activity. The catacombs entrance is like on a little island in the middle of the street, when we got there at 10 am it was almost all the way around. The audio guide was nice as well, just bring headphones so you don't have to hold it up to your ear the entire time.
Our guide provided a in-depth history of the catacombs and was a pleasure to listen to. He kept the group together which wasn't necessarily easy. He always had a smile and you could tell that he loved what he does. What a great tour!
An amazing and compelling place to visit. I have been 3 times now and will probably return on my next visit to Paris. Skip the line ticket was well worth it compared to previous long waits.
I heard of an impressive line for this event from many people but when I went, there was no line at all. (2 pm on a weekday) I would recommend this tour for adults and teens but children will have quite a hard time logistically. The catacombs were well kept and enjoyable. If you want to shoot video I suggest bringing a light (which I'm not so sure is allowed) I used my cell phone light to brighten the otherwise dimly lit path. Must See!
