Gaeta: Guided Boat Tour with Snorkeling Experience

Joining this tour you will discover the peninsula of Gaeta in company with a local guide. You will sail along its waters, admire its beautiful castles and cliffs, and go swimming and snorkeling in one of the peninsula's hidden gems. Once we leave the port in Gaeta Medievale, you will start relaxing on the boat sailing along Gaeta. We will firstly look over its Gulf, where you turn your gaze upon its old-age buildings and some of the most important churches; then you will discover the rest of the ancient defensive walls and fortifications of the city and its two medieval castles, the Angioino and the Aragonese castles. On board the guide will tell you about the history, culture, myths, legends and traditions characterizing this wonderful coastal city. We will then go on sailing alongside the Orlando Mountain Cliffs, tipically overhanging the sea, and marvel at the sight of the Turkish Cave and the Split Mountain, two singular natural attractions full of history and legends. From the boat you will then admire Serapo's beach, one the most popular beach of Gaeta and his particular Serapo's Ship, a rock looking like a ship submerged in the water; then we will pass alongside another little natural cave, known as the Devil Cave and finish in an incredible hidden bay, only reachable by boat. Here we will stop and, if you want to, you will swim and snorkel, cradled by these magic blue waters. The boat will finally get back to the initial port.

Gaeta: Tour Riviera d'Ulisse to Sperlonga

Tour will depart from Gaeta, from where you can admire the Aragonese Castle overlooking the sea. We will head towards Monte Orlando Regional Park, a place that can offer surprising and enchanting sceneries. The glimpse of the cliffs, walls more than 80 meters high, which drop sheer into the sea and the sight of the massive and evocative "Grotta del Turco" will be unforgettable. At the extreme point of the promontory the Sanctuary of Montagna Spaccata awaits us. A small spur of rock in the middel of the sea attracts our attention: it’s the "ship of Serapo", so called because it’s shape vaguely resembles a vessel. Arrived in Sperlonga we will admire the medieval towers dating back to 1500 and the wonderful natural caves of limestone formation: the Bazzano caves, Capovento caves and the most evocative, the "Blue Grotto". Immerse yourself in its crystal clear waters! We will continue along the ancient Via Flacca (187 BC) and the Cave of Tiberius before returning to Gaeta.
