Arrive at the beach for the chance to swim in the crystalline waters of the Calanque and taste a picnic lunch before the walk back. It is a 4 and half to 6 hour trip in the Calanques divided in several step, 30 minutes in transport to get to the National Park, 2 hour of walking in the Calanques, you have 1 hour and half to take your lunch break then you have 1 hour of swimming and the last hour is your return to the drop off point. If possible please, try to book this activity before 24 hours from the start.

There are some places you can’t help falling in love with at first sight and Cassis is one of them! Your afternoon excursion to Cassis begins in Marseille where you meet your friendly tour guide. Set off for an unforgettable visit and take in the panoramic view from the Cape Canaille, the highest maritime cliff in Europe (photo stop) as you go. Arriving in Cassis, free time to walk around the old fishing port, with all its colourful boats. Possibility to have lunch or swimming/sun-bathing). You will have the possibility to embark on a 1 hour cruise from Cassis to discover the calanques, limestone cliffs which dive into the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean sea and create natural coves (fat, rocky claws that resemble Norwegian fjords and poke out into the sea) (the cruise ticket is not included). You will be in Aix en Provence for the rest of the excursion. Stroll on the famous Cours Mirabeau dotted with refreshing fountains. Admire the private mansions from 17th and 18th centuries. Free time before to drive back to Marseille. Please note: We cannot be held responsible if the Calanques cruise is canceled due to bad weather or if the Crest road and the access to Cap Canaille are closed (no refund can be claimed).

Embark on a 6 km hike departing from Cassis. Cross the Calanques of Port-Miou, Port-Pin, and one of the most famous, En-Vau. Start by exploring the 1400m long Calanque of Port-Miou that houses a marina and conceals a rich heritage. Learn about a former site of exploitation of a limestone quarry and an underground river. Along the coast, continue until you reach the cove of Port-Pin, marking the entrance to Marseille. Discover a winding cove home to a pretty pebble cove with turquoise waters which you can, if you wish, swim in its waters during a break. Start to gain a little altitude, which will gradually take you up to 90m above sea level, to the En-Vau belvedere, revealing its beach in reverse, low and buried between the high cliffs.
