Austin Ghosts

2. Austin Ghosts

Join US Ghost Adventures for a journey through haunted locations like The Omni Hotel, the William Sidney Porter House, and the Museum of the Weird, among countless oddball restaurants and vintage shops.  Austin has a unique way of encouraging eccentric behavior with its infamous element of the weird. The history of the capital of Texas offers shocking stories of forbidden lovers, heartbreaking suicides, brutal murders, and freak accidents.  Some of the ghosts you may encounter on this historic ghost tour are playful and harmless, but others are quite wicked and have committed some horrific crimes in their lifetimes. Stroll through hotspots in the "City of Bats" on this ghost tour and explore the dark side of the city's charming downtown streets. You’ll not only visit the most haunted places in town, but also discover the history that lives on in each building.  Keep your cameras ready because some pretty spooky footage has been captured on some of these expeditions. If you’re lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of the suicide brides roaming around the Driskill, or witness the legendary "Man with the Cigar" who thoughtfully paces around the Paramount Theatre.  Loads of tall tales will skim the surface of Austin’s history, but you will also hear true stories that have been thoroughly fact-checked and researched.

From the moment we were picked up by the See Site tour van, we were very happy with the tour. Our guide took us through some places in the south side of the city that we wouldn't have even considered. We definitely learned a lot about Austin itself on that part of the tour. Once we were on the boat to see the bats, our captain, Han Solo, was incredibly entertaining, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable about the bats in Austin. We would highly recommend using this service if you intend to see the bats. You won't regret it.

Great tour guide prior to the bat watching cruise. He was passionate and informative. We all enjoyed the tour around Austin. The cruise was a bit lack luster but neat experience overall.

Boat captan knowledgeable. And provided beautiful vistas at sunset. Fulfilled one of our items from our bucket list peaceful and enjoyable
