This place got its name from the extremely clear blue water, through which the underwater world is clearly visible. On the way to the Blue Lagoon, we will stop at the most beautiful Sea Caves, where you can find the sunken cargo ship Edro III. The ship ran into the rocks on December 8, 2011 during a strong storm. Due to its unusual location, Edro III attracts tourists and photographers. It is worth adding that in the same area there is another sunken ship - MV Demetrios II, but it is much further from the shore. Sea caves are famous for their landscapes: snow-white cliffs and grottoes, rocky arches, cozy bays. The general appearance of the coast with sea caves changes depending on the lighting and water level. Our next stop is the Akamas Botanical Garden, where the Baths of Aphrodite are located in a cozy corner. The Baths of Aphrodite are sometimes also called the Grotto of Aphrodite. This is an oasis with dense vegetation. In this oasis, a small botanical garden has been created, which can be seen while walking along the paths. The Fountain of Love is also located here. The Baths of Aphrodite are a small natural bath, into which clear water from the springs flows down the stones. The grotto is covered with vines, which makes this place even more beautiful. The water flows from the stones, and in the grotto there is a feeling of a light haze. Dense vegetation completely hid the grotto from prying eyes. In the port of the village of Latchi you will have free time, and then we will board a boat that will take us to the Blue Lagoon. Continue to Paphos and explore Paphos Harbor on your own and stop for lunch at one of the many local restaurants. If you wish, make your way to Paphos Castle or pay a visit to the House of Dionysus and admire the mosaics. On the return journey, make a stop at the Cyprus Delights shop at Yeroskipou to taste traditional sweets like Loukoumia. Finally, discover Aphrodite's Rock, named after the Greek goddess of love and beauty before you return to the pickup point.
