Enjoy the convenience of a hotel pickup and board your air-conditioned tour bus to explore the most picturesque parts of Cyprus before heading out on a cruise to visit the Blue Lagoon. Drive past banana plantations on your tour with a visit to the Botanical Garden and see the Baths of Aphrodite. Next stop, Latchi. Set out to sea from the port of this small fishing village and admire the coastal landscapes as you make your way toward the Blue Lagoon. Enjoy complimentary juice, wine, and fresh seasonal fruit aboard the ship. Take a refreshing dip in the ocean water, do some snorkeling, and enjoy the sunshine before heading back to Latchi. Make the most of some free time here for swimming or to have a bite to eat at a local tavern before heading back to your hotel.

Your first stop will be the ancient Greek city-kingdom of Kourion which dates to the 10th century BC. You will see the many excavations including the complex of Eustolios and admire the magnificent amphitheater with its spectacular views over Episkopi Bay. Continue with a stop at Kolossi and the medieval castle, a former Crusader stronghold free time and optional visit the Castle ( entrance fees not included in the price). From there, drive to Limassol arriving in the old town, close to the medieval castle, Limassol Marina, and the market area where you will have free time for exploring, shopping and lunch (not included). On the way back stop at the Rock of Aphrodite where, according to legend, the Goddess of Love and Beauty was born from the waves and there will be time for a swim.

We begin our day with a stop at a pottery workshop in Yeroskipou village, where we will see how the potters continue the ancient traditional craft and if you are lucky, you might even try your hand at the wheel. Our next stop is at the village square where we will see the unique 5-domed church of St Paraskevi, built in the 9th century reputedly on the site where the ancient temple of Aphrodite previously stood. We will also have a chance to see how the ‘loukoumia’ (Turkish delights) are made and wander around the square with its local produce shops. From there we will go to a small village, Letymbou, where we will visit Sophia’s traditional house where you can experience rooms with the original furniture and décor as well as traditional costumes. You will learn how to bake village bread in the clay oven and makes other local delicacies such as the traditional halloumi cheese. Afterwards we will have a brunch –a special “Cypriot breakfast”, prepared by Sophia (included in the price). Next, we will visit the Saint Neophytos monastery and the “Enkleistra”, an enclosure which was carved out of the mountain in the 12th century by the hermit Neophytos and contains some of the finest Byzantine frescoes. The main church of the monastery was built around 200 years after the death of St Neophytos and is dedicated to the Virgin Mary.

Get adventurous and choose to drive a fully automatic quad bike or a buggy through off-road tracks with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. After going through a brief introduction and demonstration of your vehicle the tour starts. Midway into the tour you reach a beautiful section of the coast at the village of Mandria. There you can relax, play on the beach or, if you are visiting during the warmer times of the year, get into the sea for a refreshing swim. The local beach bar is like an oasis in the hot season for getting refreshments like water or a soft drink. After your short break you will get back on your vehicles for the return and finale of a great day out.

After being collected from your Paphos accommodation, you will be driven to the port from where your tour will depart from. Throughout this you will be presented with the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Paphos coastline, including Coral Bay, sea caves and St. George's Island. There will be a swim break in which you will be free to enjoy swimming and snorkeling in the clear blue waters. Alternatively, you can also opt to simply chill out and sunbathe onboard. During your swim break, you will be able to indulge yourself in a buffet meal, complete with seasonal fresh fruits available. Drinks of your choice will also be available for the duration of the cruise at the open bar. At the conclusion of your tour, you will be returned safely to your point of origin.

Experience the best of the Akamas Peninsula National Park on this day tour from Paphos. The once-bustling holiday resort was abandoned during the Turkish invasion of 1974 and has remained sealed behind barbed wire barricades ever since.
