Once you've had the chance to meet your guides, you will be shown the route for the day, hop on your E-bike and off you go.  Set off toward your first stop, the traditional meat and fish markets to see local Athenians buying fresh supplies. Then pass by the Athens Trilogy and visit three wonderful neoclassical buildings, the Library, the University, and the Academy. Pass by the upper part of the city known for its luxury and exclusive streets. The tour is scheduled so that you will be on time at Syntagma square to watch the famous changing of the guards and take photos with the Evzones. You’ll be picked up at your centrally located Athens hotel and begin your full-day and zero-carbon tour with a visit to Panathinaikos Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1896. Pass by the Prime Minister’s residence and the former Royal Palace, which is still guarded by the colorfully garbed Evzone soldiers. You’ll see the historically important Zappion building, now a conference and exhibition hall, before arriving at the Temple of Olympian Zeus, completed in 131 A.D. The tour continues past the National Gardens to Hadrian’s Arch and on to the Parliament. You’ll also pass by the National Academy, the National Library, the Old Parliament, Constitution Square, and the Russian Orthodox Church. Marvel at the Acropolis, built in the 5th century B.C. Visit the Propylaea Gateway, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Parthenon, and the Erechtheum with its famous Porch of Maidens. Temple of Poseidon and Cape of Sounio sunset tour: You will drive along the south coast to the Athenian Riviera, which will allow you to easily reach the otherwise hard-to-get-to Sounion. Once there, you will be dazzled by the famous landscapes that surround Sounion. In the times of the ancient Greeks, this site was revered as sacred ground dedicated to the gods Poseidon and Athena. You can marvel at the Temple of Poseidon, which perched upon the cliff’s edge 70 meters above the sea. Later, walk the blessed earth of Sounion, one of the places sung about it in Homer’s Odyssey. You can then stand upon the same cliff where it is said King Aegeus threw himself off. The tale is told in Greek mythology that Aegeus told his son Theseus that if he defeated the Minotaur, he should return to Athens with ships bearing white sails. Theseus forgot this request, and when Aegeus saw Theseus’ black sails, he threw himself from the Sounion in despair. While here, you can watch the sunset over this legendary horizon.
