What People Are Saying About Panama City
I absolutely loved this activity. Everything was perfect from being picked up at my house to the great tour and narrator to the actual viewing of this engineering wonder. I would say that the providers need to tell people to bring hats, sunscreen and sunglasses because it is hot and the sun is brutal. We were on the upper deck in the front and although it was the perfect place to view the canal, even with sunscreen, we got burned. Overall an activity I would recommend!
Everyone did all they could to ensure that we had a great experience...and it was.
Fabulous trip. Such a great experience to go on the Panama Canal while freighters and cruise ships were there. And then to see birds, crocodiles, iguana, monkeys, and indigenous people was super. Learning about the medicinal properties of plants was informative.
A really unique tour with a professional and very well informed guide. I have already recommended this tour to people
From our tour guide, Ross, to the local company Barefoot Panama, the day tour was incredible. We had just a total of six on our tour, a comfortable van and a beautiful pontoon boat to travel along and on a major portion of the Panama Canal. We stopped at three islands and hand-fed two species of monkeys and saw a third. The visit to the Indian village was interesting and there were some beautiful and unusual crafts to purchase if you wish-no pressure. Our tour guide was very informative about the history of the canal as well as the wildlife. Nicest tour we have been on while in Panama.
