The trip was very informative and very much value for money for half a day. The main highlights were the time spent at the community center. 2 things which I had higher expectations about were - the boat ride could be a bit longer with some time spent in spotting wildlife etc, (it was a bit of a short ride to the community) and the time spent at the community could have shown some aspects of their regular dwellings and glimpse into their regular non-tourist life. Our guide Saul was excellent though, very polite very well-informed and courteous. Along with giving the whole history of the native tribes and the communities, he also went the extra mile of dropping us at another location of choice after the tour and provided nuggets of other touristy info.
Rafael fantastic tour guide. Great knowledge and really interesting learning from the Embera tribe.
