Leave Panama City at 7:00 AM and head off on a panoramic tour of the central provinces until reaching the Valle de Antón, an ancient crater of an extinct volcano located 1,968 feet above sea level, whose slopes are covered by humid tropical forests crisscrossed by rivers and stunning waterfalls. A short walk through the dense tropical forest will allow you to appreciate the abundant avi-fauna of the place and the Chorro del Macho, the most famous of the waterfalls.
