From Panama City: Monkey Islands Tour on Gatun Lake

Kenny & team were nothing short of amazing. Appreciate the efforts they put in to lure monkeys. Highly recommended👍

Our guide Mario was very friendly. During the boat trip to the islands, the pilot made every effort to please us. He took his time looking for the animals and showing them to us. We were able to see crocodiles, iguanas and 3 different species of monkeys, even though Mario told us it was almost impossible in the same day. I really enjoyed it and felt privileged. THANKS ! :)

Four adult family members went on the tour. We did the afternoon tour as that worked best with our schedule and despite some of the reviews that said the monkeys weren’t hungry after the morning tour, we had a great experience. The monkeys didn’t go past the first couple of seats near the front but that was ok as we were happy just to take pictures and see by then interacting with the other tourists and each other. Our tour guide, Mirabel, was so friendly and relayed a lot of information to us about Panama on the bus ride down. The other guides on the tour were excellent at spotting other wildlife as well. We saw an alligator and a couple of turtles as well as the titi, howler and white faced monkeys. Great opportunity to see some rainforest animals.
